Some new inspiration....

I know it has been a little while since the last post, but I have some layouts to share with you that may give you a little inspiration for your multi-photo pages

I loooove using my cutting dies to create embellishments with as well as chipboard and metal embellishments.  I recently learned a new technique to dress up chipboard by painting with gesso, let dry then randomly inking the piece with TH distress ink and then go over with dimensional magic or glossy accents or similar and blend gently with your finger....the ink will meld with the DM/GA and produce a unique embellishment for you....there are so many possibilities with that technique!!

Scrapbooking / Papercrafts Weekend Retreat - North Brisbane

Queensland Scrapbooking Retreats next weekend retreat is being held on 3-6 May in Kilcoy, about and hour and a bit from Brisbane. Kilcoy is a lovely little country town and the atmosphere adds to a wonderful relaxing weekend.

These retreats are great value with everything included (accommodation, all meals, class & kit, challenge kits, goodie bag, demos etc). Accommodation is motel rooms - no bunk beds here or dorm style rooms!!

Payments are easy via Paypal.

This retreat is for 3 whole days (in Friday afternoon and out Monday afternoon) but 2 day  packages are also available.  Local participants are more than welcome to attend.

I have done a few multi-photo layouts of late, so thought I would share on the blog

A couple of these are from classes that I have taught and the last one is a kit that I have available.  The Mad Hatter Party layouts are from my daughters 21st birthday celebration album.  I love to make my own embellishments.....paper flowers, fabric buttons, butterflies

I hope you get some ideas from some of these.

Layout Call...

Hi there

It has been a little while since we have had some new layouts to share, so I am putting out the call you for you all to consider sending in some of your pages that contain 3 photos or more.

I know we are all busy with the lead up to Christmas and the holidays but what better way to spend some holiday time than to do some scrapping with inspiration from the layouts that we share with you.

Please send your layouts to mealin@optusnet.com.au and we will post on the blog for you.

Don't be shy and think that your work isn't good enough to share - we post all submissions.  Someone is always looking for new ways to create their multi-photo pages and your pages could be the one that someonethey are looking for!

Esther has sent in her pages relating to her recent Halloween celebrations - what great memories there are here. 

Well done Esther - these are wonderful.  Actually....I think I count 12 photos - Fantastic!!  I'm looking forward to seeing more of your layouts.

October Sketch Challenge

Well it has been a little while since we have had a Challenge, so let's have one shall we?

This time it is a Sketch Challenge from Becky's Page Maps and I've decided add two pieces of criteria to it being;-
