They have all met the criteria for this challenge, some are a little harder to see, but I have checked. A couple have also interpreted the circle paper as being paper with circles or spots on it - but that's fine - it is all an individual thing. By the way, one of the participants has submitted two entries!! Magnificent!!

So there you have it - please place your votes by sending an email to mealin@optusnet.com.au - voting will close on 8 April and I will announce the winner on the Sunday (Australian time) again giving the International votes an opportunity to come in.

Challenge 1,2,3,4.......drawing to a close.....

I just wanted to remind you the the current Challenge will finish on 31 March, so if you are contemplating sending in your submission you only have a few days to do so. Here is a reminder of the criteria for the Challenge:-

1 border/edge/corner punch feature;

2 different embellishments being chipboard (not lettering) and pearls;

3 photos - any size;

4 different pieces of cardstock and patterned paper, with one of them being a circle and one of the pieces is to be edge distressed.

I hope to receive your layout soon; we have some great submissions so far and I can't wait to show them to you all.

Capturing life....

Kirsty has sent in her layout showing a style that seems to be emerging with the craft of late - lots of "white space" as they call it, but a beautiful simple layout. I love the photo size; you can fit so many more photos on a page if you use 3" x 2" photos; and you can still see the detail.... the bottom photo shows the journalling tag in detail that is hidden behind the top photo....very clever!

Scrapbooking Retreat in S.E. Queensland.....

For those of you who live in S.E. I don't know about you, but I would just love to get half the number of pages done in a month - need to get some serious scrapping done - hopefully I will get that opportunity at our upcoming Retreat at the end of April at Kilcoy (S.E. Queensland). If anyone is interested in coming along, let me know and I will steer you in the right direction.
