And the winner is.......

Hello everyone
Well the voting is in for this Sketch Challenge, and the winner has been decided. The reasons why this layout was popular and received the most votes was for its close resemblance to the Sketch, the use and embellishment of the papers in keeping with the theme of the photos and the fact that it was a double layout.

So the winner is........Tina Parsons from Narangba, Queensland for her Snakes Layouts......

Congratulations Tina and well done! You have earned yourself a nice little prize as well as a $10 voucher from ScrapbookingnCraft who create some gorgeous chipboard laser cuts - I am sure you can do lots of creating with your prize. Please contact me to arrange delivery of your prize.

To all of the other ladies who submitted entries, thank you so much for doing so - they were all great layouts and I hope that you will continue to submit your multi-photo layouts to the blog and gain inspiration from others.

I look forward to posting your layouts soon.

Have a great week and take care, Ann :-)

Anyway, have lots to do and the first thing that needs to be done is to post some layouts received over the last week or so.
There are many styles of scrapbooking layouts on offer in this blog, so hopefully you will find something here to help you complete your pages.

Challenge #1 update

Hi there
Well hubby & I have had an opportunity to get away for a week and will be away from the end of this week........sooo this means that I won't be around on the 14th to look at the votes for this current challenge and decide the winner. I thought of delaying the decision, but then I thought if I extended the challenge for a little longer it will allow a few more entries to come in as well to add to those that we have already received.
So, we will extend the challenge which will now close on 17 October; I will then post the submissions on 18 October, and we will make the decision on 25 October.....after I get back from the Brisbane Craft & Quilt Fair.....on my goodness!!

Here is the sketch again that has been created by the very talented Valerie Salmon:

We have some great submissions so far; we would love to receive yours soon....and you can submit more than one layout if you wish.

We look forward to hearing from you soon.

Take care, Ann :-)

Here is some important stuff about the sketch.....

Stamps are great for creating your own patterned paper

Microsoft WordArt is a very handy program to use for creating embellishments
to use on your layouts

Cork & corrugated board looks fantastic on masculine layouts

Metal & Mesh make masculine pages look really good
especially where vehicles are involved.
